NUCLEAR MEDICINE · APPLICATION CYCLE 2026–2027
Track your Nuclear Medicine residency applications — every program, signal, and interview.
Nuclear Medicine runs on the same ERAS-to-NRMP calendar as most of medicine, but it's one of the few specialties left off the AAMC's 2027 program-signaling list — so there's no signal budget to plan, one less moving part than an Internal Medicine or Dermatology cycle. It's also a small, direct-entry field: many nuclear medicine physicians reach it through Diagnostic Radiology and a nuclear-radiology fellowship rather than a categorical Nuclear Medicine residency. CycleDoc's directory doesn't yet carry Nuclear Medicine programs, so if you're applying directly you'll add yours by hand. Either way, the tracker, deadlines, interview manager, and rank matrix all work the same — only the signals planner sits out, because this specialty doesn't signal.
Built by a former residency director of medical education and core faculty member who read thousands of applications.

NUCLEAR MEDICINE SPECIFIC
Does Nuclear Medicine use program signals?
No. Nuclear Medicine isn't on the AAMC's 2027 program-signaling list, so there's no signal allotment to budget and nothing to over-allocate. CycleDoc still tracks every program, deadline, and interview for you — the signals planner simply doesn't apply to this specialty.
Why aren't Nuclear Medicine programs preloaded?
CycleDoc's directory doesn't currently carry Nuclear Medicine programs — it's a small, direct-entry specialty, and many physicians reach it through Diagnostic Radiology instead. If you're applying to categorical Nuclear Medicine positions, add them manually; every tracker field, deadline, and the rank matrix work exactly the same.

How is this different from Residency Explorer?
Residency Explorer helps you decide where to apply. CycleDoc runs the cycle after you've decided — tracking what you submitted, where your signals went, which deadlines are next, which interviews conflict, and how your own invite rates are trending. Most applicants use both.
